This surf holiday package is perfect for those who have never surfed before or just tried a few times but never had opportunities to continue doing so. It targets those who want to take the full surf course.

Together in a group, our instructors will closely monitor your progress during the 5 days and will ensure that you will improve your skills gradually according to your initial knowledge.

We will do our best to surf on the beach with the best conditions for your level and where there is no lack of waves! We believe the most important is that everybody has fun, while living surf emotions in a safe environment and knowing other surfers who share the same “love” for surfing.

SURFING IN SAGRES

The beaches around Sagres, in the Algarve region, are amongst the best surfing spots in Portugal: Praia do Beliche, Tonel, Telheiro, Zavial, Praia da Mareta… every beach has different wave characteristics and is suited for different surf levels.

WHEN TO SURF IN ALGARVE

BEST MONTHS FOR SURFING

If you combine surfing and pleasure, then anytime between May and October is best. If you attend a course for several days, then any month will do (please note that we are closed in January). If you are an experienced surfer and looking for the biggest waves, then try to avoid the summer months.

GUARANTEED WAVES

ALL YEAR LONG

The west of the Algarve creates good waves 365 days a year. It is possible to practice surf every day. This is quite unique, as other surf destinations in Portugal cannot guarantee the same. Algarve has the best waves in Europe according to the Portuguese tourist authorities.

The Surf Journey

Start the day with a great breakfast around 8:00AM. Once the coffee begins to take effect, our team will make the plan of the day and indicate the surfing destination of the day. We left around 9:00AM, to the beach with better conditions, where we start with a short introduction and warm-up. After 1:30h in the water, it’s time for a break. After this pause, we start the second class of the day. At the end of this surf day, you will be tired and your level of endorphins is very high, then it is time to go back from the beach and have a warm bath.

All Fridays we join the group and we go to the most southwestern point of Europe (Cabo de São Vicente) see the sunset, this a special moment that we want to share with everyone. On the last day of the course, usually Fridays, it is time to review all week and share all the emotions with the other participants. Exceptions and changes can occur.
